Indian Railways longest train tunnel electrification project in Andhra Pradesh is a marvel.

At 6.6 kilometres length, India’s longest electrified railway tunnel has been commissioned by Indian Railways between the Cherlopalli and Rapuru stations in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. Said to be an engineering marvel, the tunnel is part of the new 112-km long broad gauge Obulavaripalli-Venkatachalam railway line in the South Central Railway Zone.
